The water that we drink is clear,
at least it should be so.
Shortage of it is what we fear
when levels drop too low.
When too much heat dries out the lands
on which we farm our crops
the climate ’s out of our hands,
whose process hardly stops.
As clever as we humans are
we try to find new means
of keeping standard’s highest bar
thus disregarding greens.
