Waiting for the next disaster
repairs seem pointless here.
A less effective paint or plaster
doesn’t help the fear.
When windows rattle from the blast
and people run outside
they only hope it will not last
and gaps won’t be too wide.
Mankind adapts to such events
in order to survive,
but nature makes no difference
and lets its power drive.
