Rocky mountains

A landscape, too, without much land
for plants to dig their roots
into the soil for a firm stand
nor distribute their shoots!

Bare rocks with crevisses reach high
and leave some narrow caves.
And at the foot green plants can try
not to be washed by waves.

The granite mountain daily mocks
the climate change with solid rocks.
