Luscious in the sky

Her majesty, the tree, rules high
above the vegetation.
Its limit, though, is not the sky,
it accepts growth inflation.

The higher leaves turn to the light
the more they serve to send
sugary juices down that might
help dismal wounds to mend.

The tree that grows feels free to fend
courageously for life.
A storm that forces it to bend
is met with rage and strife.

Aus meinem Buch:

Short poems speak about our daily lives which in our times are in various crises all over the world. Inspired by a picture just one aspect each is taken up to render the author’s opinion. This way every single page can be enjoyed separately, a bonus in our hectic business world.
