A window stands for separation.
It makes a difference inside out.
Looking from inside preparation
for what real life is all about.
Once outside you leave the protection
of a relative safe place
always suffering detection
by a person giving chase.
Though that creature still might spy you
looking from the outside in,
for a window does allow, too,
two-way beams of light to win.
