I told you so!

When wheat is ripe, I told you so,
it has fulfilled its purpose.
The harvesters just cut it low
short straw stays on the surface.

The outcome is most evident,
of course I told you so.
It was the very clear intent
to happen what you know.

“I told you so” is just a phrase
to show you are so smart
that it should really not amaze
that you knew from the start.
