The Germans are a special bunch,
they prefer Sauerkraut for lunch,
and with it pork of every kind
that you in their kitchens find.
Lederhosen proper worn
in the south where some are born,
whereas in the north one sees
wellies, oilskins, dungarees.
Their cuckoo clock world wide known
and working garden gnomes of stone.
And beaches pride themselves with chairs
to comfortably sit in pairs.
