No risk – no flight

Flying must be seen with awe
as nature didn’t give us wings.
Of all inventions the last straw,
this inefficiency has stings.

Now the planes can leave the ground
and fly across the ocean.
Their power jets produce big sound
while setting steel in motion.

The risk of errors or defects
accompany each flight.
A careful passenger respects
technicians’ shrewd insight.
