Can pride be wrong? Can an emotion be?
The answer should be „no“ rather than „yes“.
Emotions can blow up for everyone to see
or they stay secret, perhaps to confess.
You can be proud of what you have achieved,
or lend your pride to a common group
that won, and consequently are relieved
to find your pride together with the troupe.
False pride is but a sort of arrogance,
feeling superior without due cause,
or to take falsely pride for instance
in someone else’s work, steal their applause.
