What we need is often due
to what we’re told we should,
which is seldom really true.
We need less than we would.
The only necessary treat
would be a peace all round,
not fights for power, wars to beat,
but human rights new found.
We need compassion for the souls
that thirst for food and love,
the understanding that consoles
when a push comes to shove.
