and no show to see
but old leaves or some such grit.
Although the seat is free.
It says „I’m sorry“ as it waits
inviting but too late.
Gone are the parties or the dates,
left only lonely fate.
Caring in time for what you love
proves to confirm at last
that when it fits you like a glove
don’t lose your patience fast.
