Reality sometimes seems not so real
that you can touch it and believe.
Yet scientists claim you should feel
the essence that reality does leave.
It can be measured, tested and explained.
It follows evident, accepted rules.
But sometimes all those theories are stained
when engineers make even finer tools.
Reality then seems a fickle thing
that now and then escapes another test.
But even though one always wants to cling
to what was taught to be the very best.
