One day when nothing falls but rain
we like to stay in bed
and hope that water masses drain
as officially was said.
Tough luck when you must go outside
although it’s raining dogs.
Then hopeful you can catch a ride
and not the cats nor frogs.
Some days, however, catch you bad.
They started with the sun,
so that for rain you are not clad.
Completely soaked you run.
