Like in a labyrinth thoughts sometimes are lost.
You seem to move in circles, don’t get anywhere.
Especially half asleep, trying at all cost
your brain starts working more than you can bear.
The moonlight seems to stimulate your thoughts
even at times when you are wide awake.
But then romantically it contorts
more than the day’s reality can take.
When you are lost in thought, however,
your brain works overtime to catch ideas
that developed slowly spun but clever
and sometimes even overcome your fears.
