In different colours best to see
is what the earth does shape.
If rapeseed, corn or wheat or tree,
they structure the landscape.
And seldom is the ground just flat,
slight waves weave like a strand,
where patches like a vast doormat
invite to step on land.
The passing clouds throw shadows down
which render life by moving
a non-existent billowed gown
sweeping a touch and grooving.
