Forgetfulness

Oh, where did I keep my garden tools?
They took me long to find.
I guess some funny April’s fools
thought I wouldn’t mind.

But I do, it makes me sad.
I keep misplacing things.
And when I need them I get mad
and my confusion stings.

I run around, look everywhere,
forget what I was seeking,
and leave another tool then there;
despaired that I start freaking.

The way to remedy the trouble
is to reduce my speed,
not multi-task, not even double,
think of one thing I need.

Aus meinem Buch:

Poems: My poems can be either useful to boost a lively discussion or you enjoy them quietly, not more than one at a time. The metre sometimes differs from stanza to stanze, so they are not always easy on the eye. Hopefully, however, you have fun and find some poems that you like best.
