Of all things to catch there’s light,
which plants quite simply do.
We do not even need to fight
because of what they knew.
What tiny green implants produce
from exhaust and sunrays
sets oxygen to breathe now loose,
and carbohydrate stays.
Thus nature’s technical know-how
has helped our earth to flourish,
with brains it did then man endow,
which should help them to nourish.
Our efforts, though, to imitate
this process is restricted.
On top of this we could be late
and get ourselves evicted.
