facetious its face, as it’s only outside.
Guessing what’s in it would be very hard
although the outside can give a rough guide.
Quite often the zeitgeist is displayed inside
especially when the building is new.
In older ones you find a continuous slide
of mixed styles with their owners, too.
Interior values in accordance with looks
seems a lofty aim to reach.
Whatever is prepared by cooks
must look and taste the same way each.
And when appearances deceive
one probably should better leave.
