Where the sun shines

Where the sun shines we call it ‘day’
in either hemisphere,
though in the north it’s hard to say
when winter days come near.

The darker such a day crawls past
the more depressed you’re found,
and beg that winter does not last
much longer that year round.

Polar light does not boost emotion,
although it’s such a sight
and gives you in the night a notion
of sun power so bright.

When the sun shines we like to live
and enjoy what it can give.

Aus meinem Buch:

Life represents us with an astonishing variety of beauty. This is why when I see a photo or a picture, it might inspire me to put my thoughts in a rhyme. Picture and rhyme belong together this way. – When the reading becomes too difficult, try a second time, or a third, and you’ll understand what I want to say, I hope.
