Not only golfers need the green to play.
The green in plants produces energy
that all of us depend on in a way,
green with envy now for such commodity.
Nature hides a vast amount of tools
which we would like to copy in construction.
Far too long as thoughtless stupid fools
did we exploit the earth with slow destruction.
Saving the green around us helps to see
the splendour that developed without man.
It dwarfs us but still leaves the possibility
for us to use the tricks as humbly as we can.
