A garden gnome has fun in spades
when enjoying the merry-go-round.
The smile in his face really never fades
but so does the carousel’s sound.
Wearing a safety-belt is a must
even for gnomes it is true,
for in the lively fun fair’s bust
it keeps him together with glue.
Otherwise people might like him too much
and want to steal him away.
This way they only dare to touch
and the laughing pleasure can stay.
