From one centre out in all directions
the rays are sent with or without an aim.
They wander straight and show no imperfections,
between their start and end remain the same.
They can be purposefully redirected
to a receiver that they ought to reach.
Messages might go undetected,
but aptly caught they can inform and teach.
We are surrounded every day by different waves
which might be harmless, but you never know.
We can be thankful for the life it saves
but radiation also can be touch and go.
