Poppy field

It looks unreal with spots of red,
the poppy field.
Some white is sprinkled in its bed,
a lower shield.

The blades of grass that try to rise
above the poppy
are kept below eye-level wise
but not too sloppy.

A painter might have done it with his brush
just dotted
some red spots as if in a rush,
besotted.

Aus meinem Buch:

Some poems about man in nature. Visions and ideas how we can treat our environment, or are treated by it. Man as a social animal can show responsibility for his surroundings both natural and social. Some Limericks are mainly to amuse myself and the reader.
