Oranges

Sometimes the world seems dipped in orange hues.
The colour wraps you warm and fresh around
so that you feel involved from head to shoes
and stand and listen calm to nature’s sound.

The smell of oranges reminds of peaceful hours
when family or friends invited come
and bring a different perfume with their flowers
whose scent expels the spicy orange some.

But from the moment when you cut the skin
of oranges a fruity juice breaks free
that permeates the air in the whole room akin
to pleasant vibes which you can almost see.

Aus meinem Buch:

Poems: My poems can be either useful to boost a lively discussion or you enjoy them quietly, not more than one at a time. The metre sometimes differs from stanza to stanze, so they are not always easy on the eye. Hopefully, however, you have fun and find some poems that you like best.
