Extended hands are to be taken,
either in friendship or to take care.
No feeling involved when formally shaken,
though bonds officially are there.
In other cases when a hand
is dearly needed to support
because alone you cannot stand
you look for homes as last resort.
The more you age the more you need
some help with daily chores and such.
No more important pride and greed,
but thankfulness and patience much.
