Cows and sheep are to be expected.
I guess, however, it’s not only those.
Little creatures remain undetected
in numbers no-one ever knows.
We mostly disregard the things we do not see,
believe they cannot truly influence at all.
But like the wind that shows in branches of a tree
the force of tiny beasts is anything but small.
With arrogance of knowledge we assume
to dominate the earth and what it holds,
coat it with buildings that above us loom
and risk that greater power suddenly enfolds.
