Of course we take the light for granted,
it regularly makes our day.
It doesn’t only grow when planted
in a socket and then stay.
The sun provides our light for free.
And as the plants use it to live
we second-hand take it to be,
because of all that they can give.
Besides the pleasure of the light
presents us with a world of colour
embellishing all nature bright
and in twilight slowly duller.
