The smallest gap still lets plants flourish
even without a crumb of earth
or minerals that help to nourish
a new life that was given birth.
Some circumstances stop, however,
each growth by lack of basic needs.
The lowest plants waive the endeavour
of settling on bare rocks with seeds.
Fighting the burning rays of sun
or frost that changes rain to snow
inhospitable regions won
and leave each life to plants below.
