Without much thought we do complain
about too much or little rain.
When too much falls we fear to sink
and droughts lead to a hunger brink.
There’s no deciding what is worse:
both situations are a curse.
Consideration makes us think:
we speak of water that we drink.
All life on earth begins in water.
Without it means definite slaughter.
So consequently we must save
all water no matter how grave.
