What use would be the cherry trees
if without help from early bees?
We’d see it blossom white in spring
but without bees no cherries bring.
And then an early frost can keep
the insects in their beehives deep,
when all temptation of the bloom
is prematurely cursed with doom.
So let us hope the climate change
won’t nature’s timetable derange,
because what would we eat instead
if not the fruit in their bright red?
