Try and catch the rainbow there
where it hits the ground!
You won’t succeed, even with care,
or with a sudden bound.
By happenstance you might, however,
find all its colours‘ spray
within your hand, but touching never.
Light keeps contact at bay.
To hold your luck with both your hands
it takes more than one snatch.
You must give time and love to friends
acknowledging a catch.
