Behind the clouds an angel’s wings
confirms the strong belief
that heaven’s envoy pleasure brings
with greetings from their chief.
How good for mankind if there was
a God for our protection.
Though we deny God’s will because
of hate and imperfection.
We think we are so worldly wise,
assume we know it all,
we rise above us and despise
those who are weak and fall.
