An open mind takes up all kinds of things
that fall haphazardly into its vast expanse.
The result of what their notion brings
will finally define our unique stance.
All heaven sent ideas will mostly please
coming from a superior position,
but far more courage than to accept these
is doing something of one’s own volition.
The way between uncritical surrender
and insubordinate objection
is certainly the opposite of tender
and not well-known for whipping up affection.
