A cloudy night sometimes discloses
a brilliant silver moon
which suddenly clearly exposes
darkness with its balloon.
Unlike the sun the moon stays cold
and just reflects sunlight,
which appears silver and not gold
and does not shine that bright.
But all in all we love that light
with its soft silver glow.
It turns the darkness of the night
into a gleaming show.
