We like to be deceived sometimes
when truth seems far too boring,
which might then lead to commit crimes
harder to keep ignoring.
Fake colours put up a fine show
to lure us into dreams
of a rich life for us to go
where glamour always gleams.
The straight is not the easy way,
nor does it shine so bright.
True colours, though, can make your day.
They are not false nor trite.
