Complaining

Without much thought we do complain
about too much or little rain.
When too much falls we fear to sink
and droughts lead to a hunger brink.

There’s no deciding what is worse:
both situations are a curse.
Consideration makes us think:
we speak of water that we drink.

All life on earth begins in water.
Without it means definite slaughter.
So consequently we must save
all water no matter how grave.

Aus meinem Buch:

Especially in times of the Corona crisis our view on nature suffers a slight change. We suddenly notice that to protect ourselves we have to protect nature. Even serious themes can be pressed into rhymes.
