The weather forecast was bad news.
And now the boats are bound
to stay and wait until the clues
which clear the sky are found.
Sometimes it takes more than two hours
for the fog to lift and clear,
but there is seldom rain with showers
to keep impatient sailors here.
Hope for better wind conditions
drives the skippers to set sail,
and once they made the right decisions
they just discuss the fine detail.
